Brianna's Recital

Brianna had her recital in Tooele on April 14. She and Gary both danced in Butterfly Kisses together. It was very cute. I videoed it if anyone ever wants to see. We took these pictres after the Recital.

Backyard Construction

Gary and I decided to make some changes in our back yard this year so we have been working hard all spring. We made the sand box bigger so that we can out a trampoline in i (Brianna's b-day present, she doesn't know yet). Gary took the wood border out and made a nice cement one and hauled load after load of cement.
I am also waging war against the grass. We have a bunch of crab grass and I tried digging it out, but it just got worse, so I've been killing it with round-up and then re-planting. It looks terrible.
We also put more rocks around part of the sand box and we're planting things you can walk on in the cracks. This was, when the sand gets out of the box, I can sweep it back in.We picked up one load of sand with our trailor and it brofe because of the weight, so we had the rest delivered, but they would only deliver a minimum of 10 tons, so we had a lot left over!

We had to remove our cement pad because it sunk about 2 feet along the edge of the house. Now we're slowly trying to prep it for a new cement pad that won't sink, but in the mean-time, it looks like crap.

We added a corner garden with a corkscrew willow tree for shade in the summer. I removed all the rocks bordereing the back gardens and replaced them with pavers, it's easier to mow around and it looks nice.
I got the garden all planted!
More construction.
Killing the lawn.
We replaced our poor fruit trees with three new trees along the back fence. Two choke cherries and one ash.

Jenna looking cute (as usual)

We dressed Jenna up in her first 3-6 month outfit the other day and she looked so cute we have to share! The hat is a bit too big!

Jenna never stops moving so her legs are a little blurry in this one.

Brianna's Exibition

Brianna performed at Tylorsville High School in an exibition in April. Here are some pictures of her looking beautiful (as always).
