Scouting for Food

In March Gary was assigned to stand on the front steps of the State Capitol while Governor Huntsman kicked off the Scouting for Food program. It was kind of neat because the Governor spoke a little and we got to meet him.

After we toured the Capitol and attended the ceremony, we had lunch in Salt Lake and then took Brianna and Jenna on a tour of the Beehive House. It was a fun day, and Brianna got to miss school!

Ami's Pleasure, Gary's Pain

We (Gary would say Ami) have wanted a backsplash in our kitchen for a long time, and for Christmas Gary gave me new lighting in the kitche, including under-cabinent lighting, so after installing the lighting we borrowed Rose and Dave's awsome tile saw and this is the result. The grouting process was miserable!

Jenna wanted rto help as well, right after she took a bath!

Brianna also helped, but she really was a help where Jenna was just in the way.

Playing Dress Up

Brianna decided one night to play dress up with Jenna. She made a throne on the couch and they both had a blast!

We were over at Emili's one night and Jenna had a blow-out. I had not brought an extra outfit, so we dressed her in one of Dallen's. Wouldn't she be a cute boy?
Gary came home from work one day with this hat. Jenna LOVED it and didn't want to give it back to Gary!

While at Emili's Jenna had some chocolate and got it every where. We had to give her a bath and she was so funny we had to take a picture.
Gary is getting really tired of these trips to Bulgaria (he's been on five so far) so he tried to pack Jenna along so that he wouldn't miss her so much. Brianna wouldn't fit.

Easter

For East, we usually get together the saturday before, but this year I had a cousin that was having a baby so they were doing a shower for her the saturday before Easter, so, we got together at my sister-in-law's parents house for dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt in their back yard. It was a lot of fun with really good food.
Jenna enjoyed the new adventure of hunting for eggs.
