Christmas Eve

Every year on Christmas Eve we go to my parents house and have a party. We do the Nativity, have dinner and open a few presents together. This year my mom had a grandkids party the Monday before Christmas and we had the kids dress up in the Nativity costumes. Tiffani has a professional camara and she made a black backdrop so she took pictures of the differents scenes in the the nativity and then my Mom put them together in a slide show whith background music and put in on a DVD. We all watched the DVD as she narrated the Nativity. It was really neat, and we didn't have to deal with the craziness that night. Also, some of the family weren't able to be there on Christmas Eve, so by doing the Nativity earlier in the week, all the kids were still in the pictures. As a bonus, we all got a copy so that we can watch it whenever we want to!!

Gary and I gave an "International" Christmas this year becuase of our many travels. We gave my Dad a really neat Chess set from Spain. It has a Templar Knight theme.

We gave my Mom a collection of things mostly from Bulgaria, but with a few others thrown in as well.

Daine got this shirt from Germany and a little artillery Cannon from Spain as well as a few other things.

Some of those that made it to the party.

When we got home, we let Brianna and Jenna open one present, matching pajamas! Aren't they cute?!!

Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas this year. Jenna was especially fun because she was old enough to be excited about things and could even open her presents with a little bit of help. Here are some of the pictures of Christmas Morning.

Later the day Emili and Kevin came over andwe had a delcious Turkey Dinner. After dinner we played some games and then noticed that it had finally started snowing, HARD! Kevin had the great idea of pulling the kids behind the 4-wheeler before the snow plows had a chance to come around so everyone suited up andhad a blast being pulled by Gary and Jenna around the neighorhood (everyone except me, being as pregnant as I am, I didn't think it would work out so well being bumped along the streets by a 4-wheeler).

After Christmas Parties

On the 27th we had our extended Eaton Family Party. Originaly it was going to beat my parents Ward building in Cottonwood Heights, but my Grandma Eaton has had some pretty bad health problems and can't ride in a car right now, so we held the party in American Fork at my Aunt Donna's Ward building (Grandma is living with them and they just live up the street so they can push her down to the church). This is the only picture we got of the party, but we had a lot of fun seeing everyone, playing games and eating good food!

Just before arriving at the Eaton Party, we met up with Gary's Christiansen Family at IHOP in Salt Lake to celebrate his Grandma Christiansen's birthday. It was a lot of fun too, except the part where Jenna threw up all over herself. We had to go to Sam's Club after eating and buy her a new outfit because she stunck so bad! On the 26th we had the Bartholomew Family Party at Rose and Dave's house in Kayesville. I brought the Nativity costumes I had made and it was fun to watch the kids perform the nativity. we played present games had good company and good food! What more could you ask for?
I stole these pictures from other peoples blogs because I only took lowsy pictures of the event. These are the three cousins all born in 2007, Brooklyn (Mary Ann's), Jenna (mine), and Michelle (Rose's), and of course, Grandpa!

Susan was the Narrator for the Nativity and she did a great job! She was in charge of the party this year and did a great job planning everything. It was a ton of fun!!

The kids posing after the production was finished. Aren't they all so cute!
